Keren Schwarz

Keren Schwarz is a French contemporary artist, born in 1989, who lives and works in Paris. Self-taught and trained in law and art history, she first worked as a legal professional before devoting herself fully to art. Travel, emotion, and close observation of the world feed a luminous abstraction shaped by free gestures and organic textures.

Her abstract paintings are built in the moment. Gesture, color, and layered materials translate inner movements that words cannot easily express. Without a fully predetermined composition, each canvas develops through successive balances between control and surrender, density and breathing space.

This freedom of execution gives her work a presence that is both physical and meditative. Relief, transparency, and rhythm encourage the eye to wander and discover new relationships over time.
