Leah Tal

Leah Tal is an Israeli Judaica artist, born in 1989, who lives and works in Jerusalem from her Tiferet Eyur studio. Trained with artists in Israel and abroad, she works across painting, drawing, sculpture, and design. Her art brings calligraphy, biblical symbols, and Hebrew language into contemporary creation deeply rooted in the city.

Calligraphy lies at the heart of her practice. Letters, verses, and graphic rhythms become a visual architecture in which spirituality and contemporary creation meet. Whether working on canvas or on the leather drums she designs and illustrates, Tal transforms text into material, movement, and light.

Her works have been presented in Israel and internationally, in synagogues, public institutions, and private collections. Their strength comes from the union of living tradition and contemporary sensitivity: meaningful pieces that carry a story while integrating elegantly into a modern space.
