Moshe Leider

Moshe Leider is an Israeli painter, born in 1945 in the former Soviet Union, who has lived and worked in Israel since immigrating in 1978. Trained at the Moscow Art Academy and later at the Ramat Hasharon art school, he combines watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media. Material, line, and color form lyrical, balanced, almost musical abstractions.

His practice spans watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media. It moves between lyrical abstraction and elegant figuration, with constant attention to line, color, and material. In his abstract compositions, broad gestures and layered nuances create harmonious, vibrant, almost musical spaces.

Leider has exhibited in Israel, France, Germany, Sweden, and the United States while sharing his experience through teaching. His works are held in collections around the world. His painting unites the strength of academic training with expressive freedom, offering generous compositions whose balance and color retain lasting appeal.
