NOUNA is a French artist and sculptor, born in 1958, who lives and works in Paris. Trained in applied arts at the École supérieure des Arts Modernes and later at the École Boulle, she turned fully to sculpture in the 1990s. Resin, pigments, metal, and precious leaf allow her to unite experimental freedom, tradition, and modernity.

Painting, sculpture, resin, pigment, and precious metal leaf allow her to create pieces that are both playful and refined. Her work evolves through metamorphosis: familiar forms, symbolic objects, and flashes of light are transformed into new presences. Gold is never merely decorative; it intensifies light and gives the work a precious, almost ritual quality.

This flexible visual language retains the freshness of early experimentation while demonstrating real technical control. NOUNA’s works engage the eye immediately, then gradually reveal their richness of material and meaning. They bring to a collection an optimistic energy, contemporary elegance, and the rare character of a piece conceived as an exceptional object.
