Regina Goldelman

Regina Goldelman is an Israeli artist, born in 1985, who lives and works in Herzliya. Her vocation emerged in London in 2015 after encountering Gerhard Richter’s paintings, followed by a studio-gallery in Jaffa and a new workspace in Herzliya Pituah. She creates physical abstraction in which rapid gestures, acrylic layers, and building tools transform emotion into color.

Her paintings arise from emotional necessity and intense physical engagement. Brushes, spatulas, large squeegees, and sometimes building materials move acrylic through successive layers. Color, used in bold and unpredictable combinations, becomes the true subject of the work: it breaks the boundaries of form and makes an inner state visible.

Goldelman has exhibited from London to New York, Venice, Rome, Dubai, and Tel Aviv. Her work has attracted collectors, including when presented at Phillips in London. Each painting captures the energy of a moment without fixing it, offering spectacular abstraction whose gestural power retains a deeply human dimension.
