Yoel Benharrouche is an Israeli artist, born in Beer-Sheva in 1961, who lives and works in Israel near the Judean Desert. Raised in Ashdod and later trained at the Beaux-Arts in Nice, he also studied sources of Jewish tradition and taught drawing. His vibrant palette and lyrical figures bring poetry, humanity, and spirituality together.
A painter and sculptor, he creates a world in which the material rises toward the spiritual. Luminous colors, stylized figures, humor, poetry, and symbols shape a generous vision of humanity, love, and Creation. His techniques include acrylic, wood, lacquered metal, paper, and collaged materials.
Exhibited across several continents and represented in numerous private collections, Benharrouche has developed an immediately identifiable visual language. His works do more than illustrate a narrative: they invite contemplation and connection, offering the collector a presence that is joyful, meditative, and deeply rooted.
