Naomi Fuks

Naomi Fuks is an Israeli contemporary artist, born in 1966, who lives and works in Tel Aviv. A painter, designer, and illustrator, she trained at the Avni Institute and Tel Aviv’s Vital Center. Her mixed-media practice combines portraiture, ethnic textures, symbols, gold, and deep blues in a language poised between strength and delicacy, reality and imagination.

Using mixed media that combines acrylic, pastel, drawing, and image processing, she builds compositions rich in layers, textures, and transparency. Faces, symbols, ethnic references, and echoes of Klimt meet in a subtle dialogue between reality and imagination. Light and shadow guide the eye from one detail to another, giving each canvas a depth that reveals itself gradually.

Fuks has presented her work in solo and group exhibitions in Israel, Italy, and Japan. Her signature lies in the compelling union of chromatic strength and delicacy: works with immediate presence, yet enough visual complexity to continue unfolding over time.
