TERMS OF SALE

The sale will be conducted in euros and payment is due immediately upon purchase.

No buyer's premium or additional fees will be charged to successful bidders.

WARRANTIES

The information contained in this catalogue is provided under the responsibility of the sale organizer, subject to any corrections or amendments announced during the presentation of the lot and recorded in the official sale minutes.

BIDDING

Lots will be offered in the order in which they appear in the catalogue.

The highest and final bidder will be declared the successful purchaser.

In the event of a recognized simultaneous bid, the artwork will be re-offered for sale.

ABSENTEE BIDS

Any bidder wishing to submit an absentee bid may contact Espace Fine Art or Sotheby's no later than two days before the sale, or during the exhibition at Salons Hoche, Paris, through an authorized representative.

HOW TO BID IN PERSON

To bid in person during the auction, prospective bidders are advised to register with the sale organizer or Sotheby's before the auction begins. Registration requires the submission of personal contact details together with satisfactory banking references or proof of financial standing. Once registered, each bidder will receive a paddle number required to participate in the auction.

PAYMENT

Payment must be made immediately following the sale.

Accepted methods of payment include:

• Cash (euros only), up to a maximum of €1,000 for French private individuals, in accordance with French regulations.
• Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
• Bank cheques, upon presentation of valid identification.

COLLECTION OF PURCHASES

From the moment the lot is knocked down, it becomes the sole responsibility of the successful bidder. Where payment is made by cheque, release of the artwork may be delayed until the cheque has been fully cleared. Title to the artwork shall pass to the purchaser only upon full clearance of payment.

Purchased artworks must be collected at the venue on the evening of the sale. A home delivery service for large-scale artworks may be arranged. Delivery costs will be borne by the purchaser and will vary according to the destination.
