Stéphanie Robert

Stéphanie Robert is an artist born in Paris in 1979. Curious, instinctive, and deeply sensitive to the world around her, she now explores abstract art as a language through which she can give form to what cannot always be expressed in words.

Her work is above all an exploration of human emotions. Each work is born from an emotion, a feeling, a moment, or an inner state. Joy, anger, fear, sadness, desire, serenity, solitude, hope, confusion, or freedom thus become the starting point for her creations.

Through colors, contrasts, materials, movement, and layering, Stéphanie Robert seeks less to represent reality than to make the invisible visible. Her works do not tell a specific story: they convey a sensation and leave each viewer free to receive and interpret it according to their own personal story.

She works with both vibrant colors and black and white, on a variety of supports, and notably uses acrylic paint, resin, and different materials to create relief, depth, and movement.

Her approach is based on one conviction: a work of art can convey an emotion even before it is understood. Each painting therefore possesses its own emotional identity. Some challenge the viewer, while others soothe, unsettle, attract, or awaken a memory.

Through her abstract universe, Stéphanie Robert offers a free and instinctive form of painting, in which each work becomes the trace of an emotion and a mirror of the emotions of the person looking at it.
