Arielle Sibony is a French-Israeli writer and artist, born in Paris in 1993, who has lived and worked in Israel since 2015. Having become Israeli, she moves between French, Hebrew, and English. Her work emerges from this in-between state: what she cannot say, she writes; what she cannot write, she draws and paints.

Her work emerges precisely from this in-between state. What she cannot say, she writes; what she cannot write, she draws and paints. Her black lines evoke letters freed from meaning, veins, or writing made unreadable yet universal. Color enters as a force, sometimes challenging the black and opening a space for freedom and interpretation.

Sibony calls this process “un-writing.” By releasing form from linguistic rules, she creates works that everyone can read differently. Her painting combines precision, instinct, and literary depth, offering collectors not simply an image but a true field of projection in which identity, memory, and imagination interact.
