Gal Gaon is an Israeli architect and designer, born in 1967, who lives and works in Tel Aviv. An architecture graduate of the Bezalel Academy, he developed a philosophy he calls “abstract nature,” positioned between furniture, sculpture, and fine art. Wood, stone, and metal give rise to powerful, minimalist organic forms of great precision.
Wood, stone, and metal provide the starting point for powerful, minimalist organic forms. Gaon observes nature’s quiet tensions—balance and divergence, mass and lightness, movement and rest—and transforms them into sculptural objects. His curves evoke pebbles, celestial trajectories, and geological forces while retaining rigorous architectural precision.
Made with local artisans, his pieces have been presented at Design Miami/Basel, Design Miami, FOG Design+Art, The Salon Art + Design in New York, and international design weeks. His work has appeared in publications including Architectural Digest and T Magazine. Each creation unites rare materials, exceptional craftsmanship, and poetic form.
